Salli is a ‘Canon’ girl and is a totally self taught photographer. Salli has a busy life with her family and music business but in her spare time loves to get creative with her portraits. Photography is a passion of Salli’s, now she has a great team of professionals alongside her to bring her ideas to life, as a team everything has just come together, with the renovation of a large space for a photographic studio there is now no limitations to her work throughout the year, although her passion is still using the backdrop that nature provided.
Salli has a small client base in her local area she has been serving since 2012, with her busy schedule she limits her client shoots to a few monthly.
Salli is a singer by trade and spent 20 years on the road touring, backing singing and lead vocals as well as playing percussion in a house band supporting some great artists. Her love of photography started whilst working with photographers on musical projects many years ago.
Salli grew up with all different types of animals on the family grounds, many dogs, a sow pig called daisy that was always having piglets and of course their beloved horses, her knowledge in the equine feild has been passed onto her eldest daughter, whom is now a professional event rider with a string of horses and her own livery yard in Essex. Salli’s knowledge and natural confident relaxed manner with horses is a valuable asset on an equine photoshoot. Paris her daughter attends some commercial photography shoots for working stallions at stud and also high end sales, Paris’s ridden experience can be seen in the gallery section where the poses were picked by her for commercial use by the client. Salli’s passion is in the equine field along with dress up period style portraits with Northern Inuit breed of dogs that look like a wolf, small animals and birds of prey.
Artists and performers choose Salli as she has many years of experience in this field on the road as well as behind the camera, directing single and album covers for up and coming artists.
Salli has collected a large selection of gowns, costumes, jackets and props from contacts in her own country and abroad, as well as having headdresses and outfits made from solo designers that help bring her ideas to life, this wardrobe can be borrowed by her limited client base for their shoots with or without the equine partners.
Salli loves her community Face Book page where she shares her work and enjoys communicating with like minded people from all over the world.
